The top used cars to buy for driving in the snow

The Subaru Outback and XV Crosstrek both have 8.7 inches of ground clearance and features like heated seats, heated mirrors and windshield wiper de-icers. The Subaru Legacy is also available for those who want a traditional sedan. It includes the winter friendly features of the Outback, but with a lower 5.9 inches of ground clearance.
If you need something larger, the only minivan currently available with all-wheel drive is the Toyota Sienna, which offers 6.6 inches of ground clearance. Winter drivers will like the heated seats, powerful engine and other premium features.
If you want a midsize luxury sedan, you have a number of excellent choices, including the BMW 3-Series xDrive, Acura TL SH-AWD and Ford Fusion with AWD. All of these vehicles are equipped with sophisticated all-wheel drive systems that do well both in the snow and on dry road. Luxury features like heated seats and heated mirrors are available like many of the other models listed here.
