Online College helps students earn PhDs

Unlike many colleges where the school year is over after the end of the semester or quarter, online colleges such as Trident University are about to start their next session in the summer. And it’s not just Bachelor’s degrees that are available to earn online, as Master’s Ph.D. degrees can be earned as well in a number of fields.

And unlike MOOCs (massive open online courses) where there is no interaction between the professor and the students, PhD students are given an online environment which includes small class sizes and the opportunity to engage with faculty and conduct research.
